EAE Teknoloji’s GRMS solution reduces energy use with presence-based or card-controlled room management using a patent-pending system.

With the KNX Modbus Gateway module, occupancy is monitored without use of the cardholder device. This function automatically executes scenarios when guests are not in the room, even if the card is forgotten in the cardholder. Thus, the hotel management saves energy.

In card reader systems, all electrical equipment in the room can be used as long as the card is inserted into the system. Still there can be an occupancy sensor in the room which is going to be used for scenes for energy saving
Occupancy Based Scene Control
As soon as the guest enters the room, the desired lighting will turn on in Pre-Welcome scenario.
Welcome Scenario The use of lighting, HVAC, shading, sockets in the room is permitted as long as guests are in the room during welcome scenario.
When a window or balcony door is opened, the air conditioning is reduced or turned off. Once closed, it automatically returns to the previous settings, ensuring energy efficiency and guest comfort. . .
The Leave Scenario activates after a set time when guests exit the room, turning off all lighting, sockets, and air conditioning. Optionally, the air conditioning can switch to a preset temperature or mode instead of turning off completely. ..
Check In/Out Scenario After guests’ check-in / out actions, desired scenarios can be activated with the integration of GRMS software and hotel PMS.
